Sometimes when the game is loading a map, you might see the "Map is missing" notice and Gmod automatically stops connecting to server. Here I will post a guide to solve it. 1. When the error appears, remember the map name(eg TTT_67thway_v3). 2. Go to your harddrive (C Drive in most cases) 3. Press "Programs Files" 4. Click on the Steam map 5. Click on "Common" 6. Then on Gmod (filepath should look something like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod) 7. click on "garrysmod" 8. Then on "download" 9. When you are in "download", click on "maps" 10. Find the map that was noted in the "Map is missing" error (making screenshots is recommended) and delete the map. 11. When you connect to the server again, the map will redownload itself (hoping that the server will be using the exact same map again). Possible causes of the glitch: The ttt_67thway_V4 you downloaded from server X may have been an outdated version of the ttt_67thway_V4 that is running on TTT#1. I hope this guide may have helped you. Feedback is welcome. Tip: If your addons are glitching, click on "addons" insteads of "maps" (step 9) P.S. Can a forum mod move this to Troubleshooting?
