    ~~The Duelist~~

    ~Heist~

Her goal was simple. Get in, retrieve the weapon, get out. Omega hit the button on the back of the dropship, opening the back. Stepping forward, she stood on the edge, looking out into the sky. They were high above the clouds as they raged, throwing flashes of light through the night. The glow of the moon cast a beautiful light onto Omegas face. Her skill with swords was as deadly as her drop dead gorgeous looks and her merciless fighting style as cold as her heart. Her hair blowing back in the wind, she pulled a helmet on Turning to face the inside of the dropship, she let herself fall backward into the night.

Omega fell head first, diving past the clouds into the storm, a sprawling complex in the middle of a ocean coming into view. Seconds before she hit the ground, Omega flipped and activated her jetpack. She hit the ground gracefully and softly, not making a sound. Walking over to the closest door, Omega took her sabre off her back. Pressing a button, she ignited the blade, a ribbon of fire dancing up the edge, fighting against the rain to stay lit. Walking over to the keypad next to the door, Omega took a small device out of her pocket, stabbing it into the keypad. A few seconds later, the door popped open. Omega walked in, looking around. She was in a dark hallway, a door at the far end. Walking forward, glanced around, making sure she was alone. Reaching the end of the hall, Omega walked through the door as it slid open into vast lab. Looking around, she spotted a case in the center of the room. In it laid an arm guard with a orangeish glow to it. Walking up to the case, Omega noticed how quiet it was. Too quiet. Opening the case and grabbing the piece, she slid it onto her arm. Almost immediately it expanded into an shield of some sort of orange energy barrier. Suddenly, the lab exploded around her.

Omega dove under the table the case was on, moving the shield over herself. The force of the blast forced her against the ground, knocking the wind out of her. Rain poured in from a hole in the roof, lighting flashing outside. Ears ringing, Omega could faintly hear a voice from her earpiece, growing louder each second.

“Omega?!? You ok? What’s going on?”

“I’m fine. Just get to the extraction point. I’ll be there.” groaned Omega as she stood up.

“Omega! I’m going down!” Explosions and gunfire echoed through the mic.

“What’s going on?” Shouted Omega. “Wh..” Omega is cut off by the pilot speaking.

“I’ve sent in a request for backup. Good luck Omega” says the pilot.

    “Godspeed Curly.” replies Omega.

Shouting and more gunfire and explosions come through before static. Omega gets up, dusting herself off before walking towards the door. Before you could reach it, the door opened. Out stepped a person in a trenchcoat, a deagle on their belt. In their hand was a katana made of the same energy as the shield. Walking towards Omega, the person began to swing the katana in circles. Before they got reach her, a figure came plummeting out of the sky, landing on one knee, their fist hitting the ground and shattering it, knocking the person with the katana back. The newcomer stood up. On their back was a pair of mechanical owl-like wings. Attached to their wrists were blades, curved and fashioned to look like talons.

The newcomer looked at katana man and made his hands into fists. “Neopolitan. We meet again.”

Neo rolled his eyes, spinning his katana around. “Wheatley. What are you doing here?”

Wheatley pointed at Omega over his shoulder. “Isn’t it obvious? I’m her back up. Now why don’t you step aside and let us pass.”

Neo stepped forward, taking a fighting stance. “Never.”

In less than a second, Wheatley was on Neo. He knocked him aside, making him drop his katana in the process. Pulling him up, Wheatley kneed him in the gut and dropped him onto the floor.

Wheatley starts to walk towards the door leading further into the complex. “C’mon. We need to steal a dropship if we want to get out of here.”

Omega started to follow him, but suddenly the door slammed shut, separating the pair. Neo stood up, walking over to his katana, picking it up. Limping towards Omega, he spun the blade. Stepping up to Neo, Omega parried his first swing, ducking under the second and kicking the katana out of his hand. Omega sliced once across his left arm and then kick him in the head, knocking him out. Just then, a drop ship appeared over the hole in the roof. A rope came down, and Omega grabbed on and began to climb up as the drop ship pulled up and began to fly away. Omega looked back at the compound to see part of the ocean part and jets come flying out of the hole. Climbing up into the drop ship, Omega cut the rope, sending the end flying into the abyss. Stepping into the front, Omega put her hand on Wheatley’s shoulder.

“Wheatley, we got incoming jets. I’m going to take care of them.. somehow.” Omega stated before turning to leave the cockpit.

“Wait. We got incoming support. Just keep them from getting too close.”

Walking into the back, Omega took a sniper rifle off the wall and laid down on the floor, aiming at the first of 3 jets. Omega fired a shot, hitting the cockpit of the first jet, making it crack heavily. Suddenly, a blue and white jet came roaring past, rockets flying at the 1st and 2nd jets. destroying them. The 3rd jet turned around and began to flee. A burst of machine gun fire ended the chase as quickly as it had started.

“Nice Zacklo!” shouted Wheatley from the cockpit.

Omega hit the button on the wall and closed the back hatch. Sitting down on a bench, she rested her head in her hands. It was over.

    ~~The Warrior, and The Ravager~~

    ~The Fall~

    City of Surat

    Eastern Jungle

    Continent of South England

    Day 4 of Siege

Sometimes Tageste wished he never accepted the promotion into spec ops. Life was so much easier before. Granted, he wouldn’t have his halberd, but they would have probably given it to someone else. They, the higher ups, were assembling a team, but for what reason, that was top secret. Even as a member of that team, Tag wasn’t allowed to know. He wasn’t even allowed to know his team members, only that he would see some in the coming weeks before he was shipped off to join the group at its base, somewhere in the mountains surrounding the southern flats of New Russia. Tag looked over at Cm, who was sitting in the seat next to him. Cm was sharpening the blade of one of his dual kamas. The dropship bumped up and down, being knocked around in the strong gusts of wind. They were flying through the cloud layer. Water condensated on the front of the dropship as it plowed forward. Far below, lights flashed and the sound of all different guns and weapons carried up into the clouds. Up ahead, a structure loomed, floating in the storms clouds that seemly circled around it. A flash of lightning arced across the sky. The complex floated closer to the city far below. In less than 30 minutes it would be above the city and if it wasn't out of the sky by then, the city would fall to the war machine of the empire of the wild. No one knew where they came from, but one day an army descended on the other nations of the world, coming from the wild continents. Their war machine marched across the globe. And the city of Surat would fall unless Tag and Cm somehow managed to take down the complex. Command seemed to think it was a weapon, launched from a staging faculty out in the ocean, the same faculty which was being raided by a single operative. Apparently she had great skill. Enough skill to be trusted to solo a faculty and steal a “highly valuable weapon”. The dropship slowed to a halt, spinning so the back faced the ever present spite floating through the sky.

“End of the line.” said the pilot through the intercom. The door at the back opened. “If I take us any closer we will be shot down.”

Tag and Cm stood up, Tag walking forward to the edge. Lightning arced by, narrowing missing the ship. Tag and Cm jumped out, jetpacks propelling them forward into the storm. Below, waves crashed against the cliffs. A pair of jets came flying past, one after another. The jet in the back fired a rocket, hitting the first jet in the back. It exploded into a ball of fire. The second jet roared through the fire, closing on the spire. A single rocket came shooting off the spire. The rocket homed in and impaled itself in the jet before detonating. Tag and Cm landed on the edge of the spire. Tag takes his halberd of his back, preparing for a fight. Walking up into the spire, it was empty. Before Tag could wonder why, the spire began to descend, leaving the cloud cover. It began to emit a hum, glowing and spinning. The spire rotated until it was aiming at the city.

“We have to stop this now!” shouted Tag, running up the spire alongside Cm.

They reached the top and a door. Opening it, they walked into a control room. Inside, three soldiers stood at control panels. They never stood a chance. Cm walked forward, throwing a kama into the back of two of their skulls and grabbing and snapping the neck of the third. Pushing the body of the third aside, Cm quickly canceled the firing of the weapon, setting it to self destruct.

“Let’s move!” shouted Cm, running out of the room with Tag on his heels. They reached the edge of the spire and jumped, plummeting through the sky. Behind them, the spire groaned and exploded. Before Tag and Cm even hit the ground, another spire appeared out of the clouds. Finishing it’s firing sequence, it shot a massive ray of electric energy at the city. The city lit up with explosions before the whole thing crumbled.

“Oh no,” said Tag. “Surats been glassed.”

A dropship came flying out of the dark and landed next to Tag and Cm. A woman stepped out. She held a sabre and looked like she had been through a lot. Next to her stood a man with mechanical wings on his back.

“Tageste and Cm? The siege is over. Surat has fallen. We’re bugging out now, before it gets worst.”

Tag and Cm nodded and stepped into the dropship. The dropship lifted off the ground and flew into the storm.

    ~~The Wanderer~~

    ~Spirit~

There is nothing more frightening than a person with nothing to lose. And Miles has nothing to lose.

Miles was told the mission was suicide. Just the way he liked it. And here he was, out on the frozen continent, his only companion his gun and his shield. The wind tore at him as he pushed into the frozen waste, his overcoat flowing behind him. Ahead of him rose a huge glacier, creaking and groaning in howling wind. Wiping the outside of his goggles clear, he slammed his foot against the glacier. Pulling his right foot up next, he began to walk up the side of the glacier. With each step he grew closer to the top, with each step the glacier shuddered as if it was breathing. Reaching the top, Miles stepped over the side back onto relatively flat ground. Several feet from the edge stood a man with his back to frost. The man had the ears and tail of a fox, but both his ears and tail were blue. He was shirtless and had a pair of rugged blue shorts on. His skin had a blue tint to it and shimmered as if it was fur. When he spoke, his words cut through the air like daggers of ice and the glacier groaned as if it was answering him.

“What brings you to our domain wanderer?”

“I've come to ask for your assistance oh mighty guardian of the ice.” replied Miles.

“Speak my name wanderer. We are all equals out here on the ice.”

“Frost, I have come to ask for assistance from you and your brother.” Said Miles, hesitating to say the icey being’s name.

    “Say my brothers name wanderer.”

    “Alonne sir.” Replied Miles.

Frost turned to face Miles. A blur came running from across the glacier, faster than the wind, and stopped next to Frost. He had the same features as Frost, but he was shorter and clearly younger. His ears and tail where a lighter blue than Frosts.

“Speak wanderer. What brings you to our domain.” Spoke Frost, his voice carrying on the wind.

“I believe that I will be facing great hardship in the coming months and I wish to be able to harness the power of ice.” Said Miles.

    “Granted.” Whispered Frost.

Alonne stepped forward and placed his hand on Mile’s chest. His frozen hand burnt at the touch. Alonne thrust his hand into Miles chest and grasped his heart. Miles vision turned blue and his whole body cried in pain as a iciness spread through Miles. Alonne released his grip and withdrew his hand, floating backwards to be next to Frost, where he dropped to the ground. Miles vision returned to normal. The first thing he noticed was that the cold didn't bother him anymore. Suddenly the wind picked up and snow flew across the glacier, blinding Miles. When the wind died down, Miles was alone on the glacier.

    ~~Vengeance~~

    ~Death~

Neopolitan is Vengeance in its purist form. He is the fine line between life and death. The origins of Neo’s power is unknown, but some say he borrowed them from death herself. He is her agent and he collects his dues. Very few have transcended life and death, but Neo managed it. Even after being stabbed in the heart, he survived. With his body recovered and reconstructed, Now Neo is more of a machine than a man and is more powerful than ever. Very few have starred him in the eyes and lived. Only one person has ever fought him and lived. Omegalomaniac. And Neo won't rest until he stands in a pool of her blood.

3 Miles off coast of Frozen Continent

United Alliance of Nations Outpost 209

He was scared for his life. First the power went out. Then people started disappearing. Screams echoed through the halls, yet the cameras picked up nothing. The man stood in front of the door, the only way into the room, gripping a shotgun tightly. He was my going to die like the others. Suddenly, he felt a weird sensation in his gut. He looked down to see a katana sticking out of his gut.

The man fell to the floor with a thud as Neo pulled his Katana out of him. He flexed his only human arm, rubbing his shoulder. Next to him stood the outline of a woman. Death. Somehow, he could see her.

“How long until you can take a more.. Solid.. Form?”

“Oh maybe after we kill a hundred or two more people.”

“Your wish is my command Lady Death.”

Death chuckled. “Oh silly, I told you. Call me Pink.”

~~The Leader, the Ghost, and the Hidden~~
    ~Brothers~

Zacklo and Exilium were childhood friends. They grew up together, enlisted in the army of the U.A.N together and were eventually brought into the spec ops program together, being some of the first indoctrinated into the program. Then they meet Filius. Filius fit in perfectly and together they were inseparable. Zacklo became a great leader and was tasked with picking a elite team of the best agents in the spec ops program. He was given 3 years to do it in. He began right away by selecting a few and monitoring their missions. In time, he would also begin to send them on special missions, especially when the war with the wild continents started. Only last weeks before the fall of Surat did he alert the selected few of their transfer to the team. The formation was delayed until after the fall. Some members, such as Cm, didn’t arrive until much later due to unforeseen events, and even then, their arrivals were untimely. In Cm’s case, he barely made it through the teleporter before it was destroyed. His sudden unprepared teleportation caused him to suffer short term memory loss. Exilum began the best under the radar spy the whole alliance had ever seen. He would be gone for weeks, living in remote locations, practically a ghost. He stole extremely valuable information from cities around the globe. On the other hand, this information was used to help them join the Alliance and made the world a much more peaceful place prewar. Filius would prove to be the perfect man on the inside. Using a device implanted in him. He could disguise himself as another person. Although the workings of the device were never released, one thing was clear. It worked. Never detected, Filius did what Exilium never dared to do. He killed. Insurrections gone overnight. Controversial Leaders disappearing without a trace. Filius did the dirty work, and he was damn good at it. Talented on their own, they were unstoppable when they came together. They dreamed of ending the war without having to use team Thunder more than they already had.
That dream broke into pieces like a mirror being shattered when Filius was shot right between the eyes. Although they made sure his death was not in vain, Exilium and Zacklo were shattered. Almost immediately high commanded banned Exilium from solo missions and restrained him to be with Zacklo as co-leader of team Thunder. Zacklo, not wanting to let them be hurt the way he was, banned any relationship between Miles and Omega. But he could never make Omega the heartless killing machine she used to be and she now fights for her team, blaming herself when anyone got hurt. Since the fall of Slimy Snake’s staging faculty in New Russia, Thunder has not been allowed to go on major missions. But even high command can not prevent the great power that is Thunder from doing what they believe is their duty.
