This is a problem that I only experience when playing on Gmod. My screen randomly flashes (basically it seems like the brightness goes from max. to min. very rapidly). Put down your thoughts and comments below.

Why, are you feeling sorry for yourself @Ace™?
Not everyone see's every topic posted within every sub-forum, or if they had seen it they probably just didn't know how to solve it.

    My Suggestions:
    - Check/ Update your current driver settings for your GPU.
    - Re-install your GPU drivers.
    - Run a stress test on your GPU, to see if it's performing well.
    - Try playing with a different GPU output method. (For example, instead of HDMI try using a different port like DVi).
    - Try using a different type of cable, cable's build up tear and where over the years of being pulled out of monitors etc. (Buy a cheap cable from Amazon, the same one that you have.)
    - Perhaps it's your monitor failing itself, but that's not likely.

Other than that, I'm stumped. Try researching on technical forums like http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/ or https://linustechtips.com/main/.

I can try looking further into your issue when I have spare time.
